This book is a useful guide for those building investors intending to invest in the Malaysia property market. It is an essential guide for the first time investor wanting to take the risk in property investment, where a lot of information and knowledge about landed and high rise properties as well as investment strategies and opportunities can be acquired. Although essentially a property investment guide, the individual house buyer or consumer who wishes to buy a house or apartment for his or her own use could also pick up a lot of good pointers from this book before making a choice. A house buyer too, apart from wanting a house which he/she is comfortable about in a location suitable to him/her, will also want to ensure that his/her property will appreciate in value in the future rather than be unattractive and in an unfavorable location that stagnates or decline in value. Hence, it is not a bad idea to give this book a going through if one is about to embark on a house hunting expedition so as to avoid some very common pitfalls and losing out unnecessarily financially. I am a life insurance man. There are some similarities between buying life insurance and property investment. They both provide shelter for a family, one in the form of protection and the other provides a safe place to live. Both accumulate assets over a long period, and they are in one way mutually exclusive and yet dependent on each other to co-exist. I guess that is the reason why Renesial has asked me, an insurance man for over 24 years, to write a few words for her book. Like many others, I too have made many mistakes in property investment. The difference between Renesial and me is that, she learns from mistakes in property investment, and I don’t. When I read her book, it just gives me a “hard knock”. How I wish I have read such a guidebook earlier. Then, I will not be in so much pain. It is not easy to write a book, and it is even harder to be able to share unselfishly with others. Truly, there isn’t much of such publication in Malaysia. Renesial’s effort come in timely, especially in the current market. It is a great book one must not miss. It surely can help many live life to the fullest. This book is also more than a book to assist you in property investment. It is also a book full of philosophical thinking and lessons in life to experience. Let’s not stop our education, learn to laugh at ourselves and always remember to have fun. This really is THE BOOK when it comes to investing in property. Renesial’s book excites me because every idea presented has been tested and tried by her personally. Property and investment in Real Estate has always fascinated me from a very early age but sad to say I never got round to becoming a wealthy person owning property simply because there was insufficient advice available then.
